Brian Smith Timber Transport is a family company, the principals being Brian Smith and Katherine Levingston.  The Company was formed in 1989 and prior to that Brian operated as a sole trader.

The Company operates a diversified business that includes both plantation and hardwood harvesting and haulage, and bulk transport of fertiliser. The Company has an administration office and a mechanical workshop in Walcha NSW.  The Company also leases a second location at Wauchope NSW.

It's Company policy to employ local people wherever possible.  The Company currently employs around 50 full-time staff.

The Company has a haulage fleet of modern trucks with various trailer combinations, including tri-axle jinkers, tri-folding skels, mini-B and B-doubles. Harvesting equipment includes grapple skidders, grapple dozer, excavators fitted with VHLC cut off saws, Timbco processors and a forwarder, plus 4WD support vehicles.

All applicable vehicles are NHVAS Mass & Maintenance Accredited as well as Basic Fatigue Managment for our Drivers and Allocation Staff.
